Responsibilities

  1. Vendor Relations: Collaborate with purchasing and engineering to determine specifications and communicate through written and verbal means with vendors to ensure part specs are met.
  2. Quality Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing inspection findings, vendor evaluations, and quality performance metrics.
  3. Quality Control Processes: Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols.
  4. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality incidents, defects, and deviations to determine root causes.

Qualifications

  • An associate's degree or bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and quality tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
