Role Overview

Westlake Hardware, Inc. is seeking a skilled Department Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a proper in-stock level of merchandise and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Project a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware at all times.
  • Proactively assist customers in solving problems and provide personalized support.
  • Greet customers entering and throughout the store, ensuring a welcoming experience.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of store products and layout to effectively answer customer inquiries.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, checking in, and stocking of merchandise.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Floor sales and/or replenishment experience in a retail environment (preferable).
  • The ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25lbs), and climb with ease.
