Key Responsibilities
  • Fundraising Management: Lead the execution of major donor fundraising efforts, ensuring seamless coordination with the Vice President (VP) of Development.
  • Development Operations: Oversee the tracking of revenue targets, manage donor touchpoints, and maintain a holistic view of team deadlines and deliverables.
  • Donor Engagement: Work closely with the VP of Development to provide high-touch support on all donor activity, including authoring proposals, letters of inquiry, and stewardship reports.
  • Prospect Qualification: Conduct research to identify potential donors, track their interests, and update moves management systems.
  • Materials Creation: Collaborate with development, program, and marketing staff to create templates for donor-facing materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and error-free.
  • Research Synthesis: Analyze external research and internal updates to educate and inform staff, donors, and the Board of Directors.
Working with the Board of Directors
  • Liaison Role: Serve as a helpful liaison to the national Board of Directors, working directly with the VP of Development and Chief Executive Officer to engage board members.
  • Board Committee Support: Coordinate meetings, take notes, and create committee reports for full board meetings.
  • New Board Member Onboarding: Facilitate the introduction of new board members, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
