About the Role

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Recovery Oriented System of Care Specialist to join our team. Job Description

This dynamic position requires an individual with a strong background in behavioral health, preferably with lived experience in the system of care. As a key person in recovery-oriented system of care (ROSC) related activities, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as a point of contact for local and state level ROSC related workgroup activities.
  • Coordinating and facilitating recovery-related trainings, including Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), ROSC concepts/practices, HOH, and other peer specialist trainings.
  • Providing training and support to providers on integrating peer support services and promoting ROSC practice adoption.
  • Implementing ROSC committees within LSFHS covered areas, assisting each committee in developing and implementing an action plan based on statewide priorities.
  • Participating in community meetings related to peer support to improve overall service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Accurately and timely submit required benchmarks, reports, forecasts, proposals, budgets, and analyses.
  • Develop effective staff management and leadership skills, working collaboratively with internal departments.
  • Foster relationships with Boards and community stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and state regulations related to behavioral health services.
Requirements

To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, you must:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Have a minimum of two years' experience working in a behavioral health environment, preferably in a not-for-profit or government setting.
  • Be certified as a Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS).
