Job Description

As a Remote School Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch therapeutic services to students statewide. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students achieve their academic and functional goals through tailored assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Virtual Assessments and Therapy Sessions: Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs.
  • Treatment Plan Execution: Deliver high-quality therapy sessions, monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal growth.
  • Collaboration with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support and ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Progress Tracking and Record-Keeping: Maintain precise records of therapy sessions and student progress, utilizing data-driven insights to inform future interventions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy: Possess a master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in New York: Hold a valid license to practice as an occupational therapist in the state of New York.
  • Experience with School-Aged Children: Have a proven track record of working with school-aged children, preferably in teletherapy or educational settings.
  • Excellent Communication and Technology Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and technology skills, with the ability to effectively utilize our teletherapy platform.
  • Self-Motivation and Remote Caseload Management: Be highly self-motivated, with the capacity to manage a remote caseload and work independently.
