As a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers cutting-edge tools for podcast hosting, distribution, ad serving, and audience measurement. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy software solutions to solve complex problems across the podcast ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and build new tools, services, and applications.
  • Maintain high code quality and adhere to software engineering best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project planning and delivery.
  • Engage in troubleshooting, research, and defect resolution, ensuring ongoing communication with stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • High level of fluency with and experience using Ruby on Rails and RubyGems.
  • Familiarity with JSON:API specification and experience building RESTful APIs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of patterns such as MVC, Mocking, and Object Oriented Programming.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base pay ranging from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
