Job Description

Amenity Health, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our pediatric team in Houston. The ideal candidate will be professional, ethical, and dependable, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and document productivity standards set by the Director.
  • Provide treatment based upon medical, clinical, functional, and observational findings.
  • Continually document active & supportive education with the patient, parents, and others concerned, regarding progress, problems & other issues related to the therapeutic process.
  • Maintain ongoing continuing education to maintain professional licensure and clinical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Ability to appropriately interact with patients, parents/guardians and other health care professionals in all work related situations.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families and co-workers.
  • Ability to problem solve to formulate a plan of care and evaluate the patient's response to care
  • Ability to interpret, adapt and react calmly under stressful conditions
