  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with early learning standards and promotes child-led learning
  • Lead by example, modeling and coaching teaching team members to ensure a cohesive and effective educational approach
  • Plan and execute engaging activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in young children
  • Maintain open and regular communication with parents through progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, and informal discussions
  • Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment, adhering to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities and safety protocols
  • Manage accurate records, forms, and files
  • Develop and maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as basic computer skills
  • High energy and ability to work well with others, fostering a team environment
  • Strong understanding of child development and its application in educational settings
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must clear full background check and pass health screening
  • Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent walking, using hands and fingers, handling objects, and talking to and hearing voices at various levels
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
