Clinical Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Food Allergy Institute.
Compensation PackageThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, generous paid time off, company-paid holidays, and sponsored employee events.
Job ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient setting, providing primary healthcare services to patients with food allergies. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a primary healthcare provider in patient treatment plans, collaborating with supervising physicians.
- Managing a caseload of patients in an outpatient setting, with assistance from clinical staff.
- Observing, recording, and reporting patient vitals and reactions to administered treatments.
- Scheduling and implementing allergy testing according to FAI procedures.
- Assessing patient needs and suggesting solutions as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- Experience working with pediatric populations.
- Clinical experience in allergy or pediatrics, preferably in emergency response settings.
- Graduation from an accredited NP program.
- Current California Nurse Practitioner Certificate.
- Maintenance of current national certification from approved organizations.
- Current BLS and PALS cards.
- National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
- Applicable procedure training and EMR experience.
