Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Nisqually Red Wind Casino. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our guests in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established standards and recipes.
  • Ensure food quality and quantity in food service areas.
  • Prepare prep lists and food requisitions.
  • Clean all areas of kitchen to maintain the highest standard of food, equipment, and facility sanitation.
  • Ensure work areas follow OSHA and HACCP health and safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • 2 years' experience in line cooking for a kitchen facility and/or culinary training.
  • 6 months supervisory experience in a kitchen facility or other setting.
  • Current knowledge of occupational safety issues.
  • Food Handlers Permit.
  • Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain a Class II Gaming License.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience in a high-volume kitchen facility.

Working Conditions:
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and lift to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for the assigned shift.
  • Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
