Quality Assurance Supervisor for a Turkey Processing Plant

Affinity Executive Search is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at a well-established poultry processing plant in Washington, IN. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are met.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in food safety and quality assurance to lead our team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Food Science, Animal Science, or Operations Management, and 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage your expertise in HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) to develop and implement effective plans to meet USDA regulations and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other prerequisite programs.
- Identify potential problems through SPC (Statistical Process Control) analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent issues.
- Train and document training for all levels of plant associates on SSOP and HACCP procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Food Science, Animal Science, Operations Management, Biology, or Chemistry).
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
- HACCP certification.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
