Safety Culture Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead Amazon's Safety Culture Networked programs and integration. As a key manager in a dynamic, global team, you will drive the growth and success of employee programs and initiatives within the WESE Employee Safety Experience team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. You will be responsible for leading and implementing global employee safety programs aimed at driving a culture of safety across Amazon operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operations leadership to define, measure, implement, communicate, and track safety improvement initiatives
- Identify and address customer and business pain points by actively deep diving into data and operational processes, and by working with cross-functional teams
- Write effective Amazon documents and ensure high-quality content for stakeholders
- Work backwards – demonstrate planning capability to execute on deliverables
- Provide effective communication to customers and stakeholders across regions
- Collect, analyze, and present data to drive decision making, as required
- Engage with employees at all levels to solicit feedback, address concerns, and promote active participation in safety culture initiatives
About the Team
The WESE team is responsible for ensuring the success of global engagement and ergonomics safety programs at sites, including Customer Fulfillment, Sort Centers, and Amazon Logistics, and for improving the safety experience of Amazonians.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or Health
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
