Job Summary:

The House Attendant is a vital member of the Courtyard Potomac Mills team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all assigned areas and equipment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Buff marble floors daily to hotel standards.
  • Shampoo carpets in public areas according to hotel standards.
  • Shampoo furniture as needed.
  • Provide friendly and efficient luggage assistance to guests.
  • Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
  • Clean guestrooms as needed.
  • Participate in emergency procedures and maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
  • Store hotel equipment in designated areas.
  • Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of employees and guests.
