Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and highly motivated RN to join our team, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional care to our patients. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the post-anesthesia period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for and manage surgical patients in the post-anesthesia period, applying critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to deliver safe nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes, promoting a positive image of nursing within the hospital.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and leadership skills, serving as a resource to the patient care team and providing communication, confidence, and professionalism.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing, preferably a BSN.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room setting.
  • A current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License, with the requirement to obtain a Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
