Cytotechnologist Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in examining and diagnosing gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides for infectious, pre-malignant, and malignant disease processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Microscopically examine and diagnose slides for disease processes
• Perform duties as required by CLIA, including documenting interpretations and maintaining specimen integrity
• Enter and report results into the laboratory information system
• Maintain confidentiality of patient test results in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in clinical lab, physical, or biological science
• Meet CLIA requirements and ASCP certification requirements
• Meet state licensure requirements, if applicable
• Liquid-based cytology training/certification, preferred
