Job Overview

US0195 Sysco North Dakota, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet by performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.

About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced technician who can work independently and as part of a team to diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems.
  • You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • In addition to routine maintenance, you will also perform more complex repairs such as engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and electrical system diagnostics.
  • Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
  • The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair is required.
  • Certifications such as ASE or FAA are highly desirable but not essential.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • Physical demands of this role include regular lifting of up to 100 pounds, frequent standing, walking, and bending, as well as exposure to extreme temperatures and noise levels.
