Job Summary:

As a Gastrointestinal Lab Technician at Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation, you will play a vital role in facilitating case preparation, stocking OR supplies, and ensuring the availability of necessary equipment. Your responsibilities will include checking and delivering case carts, cleaning ORs between cases, transporting patients, and performing second surgical scrub duties. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities, as well as ongoing educational activities.

Responsibilities:

* Facilitate cases and ensure proper supplies are available
* Stock and maintain room supplies and equipment
* Transport patients to and from surgery
* Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
* Participate in ongoing educational activities
* Process instruments and equipment
* Complete assigned goals

Requirements:

* Minimum: BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
* Minimum: Computer literacy
