Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $100-$130 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Our benefits package includes company-paid liability insurance, including tail coverage, as well as a part-time PTO package accrued at the rate of 1.0 hour for every 30.0 hours worked. Annual licensure reimbursement is also offered.

Job Description

This Part-Time Dentist position will provide on-site dental care at the Merrimack County Department of Corrections in Boscawen, NH, and Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in Manchester, NH. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine drilling, filling, and extraction of teeth in accordance with established standards of practice.
  • Complete initial dental screenings on new commitments within seven days for prisons, fourteen days for jails, and seven days for juvenile centers.
  • Evaluate inmates/patients needing or applying for dental care not included under basic services and make recommendations deemed clinically appropriate.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Dentistry.
  • Licensed to practice Dentistry in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Maintain current DEA license.
  • Maintain active BLS (CPR) certification.
  • Maintain current Driver's License.
