Job Summary:

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team. As an MRI Technologist II, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians
  • Position patients and administer injections of contrast media as needed
  • Manipulate images to ensure high-quality exams
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Current CPR certification and a minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher
  • Previous MRI experience and certification in ARRT(R) or ARMRIT
  • Ability to work weekends and overnights, including Fridays and Saturdays
