Job OverviewWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Jersey City Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art medical facility with a highly experienced staff. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the advancement of healthcare in Hudson County.
Salary & BenefitsThe estimated hourly rate for this position is $49.00-$65.00, depending on relevant experience, education, and skills. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, medical and prescription drug insurance, dental and vision insurance, retirement plans, short- and long-term disability, life and accidental death insurance, tuition reimbursement, and health care/dependent care flexible spending accounts.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Nursing Care: Provide nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health organizations.
- Patient Safety: Ensure a safe environment for patients by maintaining awareness of potential hazards and reporting any safety concerns.
- Communication: Develop effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Certifications: Maintain current certifications and licenses as required by law and professional standards.
To be successful in this role, you should have an active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement. You should also be able to maintain certification in NRP and STABLE within 3 months of hire and every two years thereafter.
Work EnvironmentThis full-time position requires working night shifts from 7p-7a, Monday-Friday, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The job is located at Jersey City Medical Center, 355 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302.
