About the Role

This position is part of The Working Connection LLC's Thermoformed Packaging division, focused on developing and qualifying new thermoplastic materials and processes for end-use markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify sustainable packaging solutions for customers by leveraging technical expertise in new polymer technologies and managing projects from development to commercialization.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers to solve complex problems and enhance product performance for customers.
  • Originate new ideas to support R&D product innovation and technology strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science.
  • At least 7 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, processing, and tooling, preferably in consumer-based food packaging.
  • Results-driven individual with a strong technical background, high level of personal initiative, and energy for success.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, leading capital projects, and collaborating with OEMs and suppliers.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this role is between $100,000 and $125,190. This position offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth within The Working Connection LLC.
