Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at the University of California, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care through the use of advanced imaging technologies. This position requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures and post-processing responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procedures performed.
Operate various post-processing/3D workstations and prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media.
Sensitively handle the physical and emotional needs of patients.
Requirements:
ARRT, CRT - required. MR certificate required.
BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required.
Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required.
At least 1 year of MRI experience - preferred.
Siemens experience - preferred.
Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and independent decision-making skills.
Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes).
Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology.
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
Salary Range:
$49.73 - $65.56 Hourly
