Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Proactive MD is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a champion of our Patient Promise, you will be at the forefront of our clinical operations, providing exceptional patient care and support.

Job Summary

The LPN will assist the provider in performing appropriate tests and procedures, documenting treatments, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, maintaining records, and filing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with and document treatments ordered by the provider or registered nurse.
  • Transcribe patient orders, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and perform select clinical duties.
  • Perform basic clerical duties, including answering the phone and maintaining records.
Requirements
  • Associate degree and active certification as an LPN or LVN.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Minimum one-year clinical experience as an LPN.
  • Recent experience drawing blood.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly.
