Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Staff Electrical Engineer to drive our integrated electronics strategy in key areas such as power electronics, motor drive, battery and charger development, functional safety, or compliance. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience developing and releasing products in automotive, medical, personal electronics, enterprise, or robotics spaces.

The role involves developing electric systems from ideation to delivery for various robotic platforms and projects. This includes working closely with engineering teams to conceptualize, specify, and implement electrical architectures; rapid prototyping of electrical systems; generating design documentation; and performing board bring-up activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and implement electrical architectures for various robotic platforms
  • Rapidly prototype electrical systems at both system and board levels
  • Generate design documentation, including schematics, block diagrams, test plans, and procedures
  • Convert prototype designs to custom circuit board specifications
  • Perform board bring-up activities, including embedded firmware development and circuit validation
  • Create and execute test plans for intermediate and final products
  • Drive excellence in EMI/EMC/SI/PI and DFM/DFA

The successful candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
