Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop optical systems and components for ophthalmic medical devices
  • Collaborate with design engineers, metrology engineers, and clinicians to deliver state-of-the-art designs
  • Conduct research and development into phases of physical optics and geometric optics
  • Apply research of complex optical systems to achieve desired optical outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Optical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in optical design, simulation, and metrology
  • Expert-level proficiency in Zemax, Lumerical, and MATLAB
