Computed Tomography Technologist Position at St. David's South Austin Medical Center

The Computed Tomography Technologist will perform CT and Radiologic procedures in accordance with standards and practices set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Hospital Policies and Procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality CT scans for patients across various age groups, from neonatal to geriatric.
- Operate CT scanners and related equipment efficiently and effectively.
- Complete quality scans in a timely manner while meeting STAT and urgent demands.
- Demonstrate knowledge of disease processes and produce studies that optimally identify related anatomy.
- Solicit patient cooperation by providing education about procedures and expected sensations.
- Certified by Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT, RTR).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR certification within 30 days of employment start date.
