About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Solutions Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and generate leads, prospect for new customers, and develop and execute sales campaigns
  • Understand customer pain points, gather technical requirements, and correlate business value to customer needs
  • Generate interest and provide vision of the portfolio of AWS solutions to potential customers using written reports/documents and verbal presentations
  • Stay up-to-date with existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing and update knowledge about new services
  • Achieve monthly qualification goals and share them verbally and in written format
  • Update and maintain customer information within Salesforce, including detailed call notes that illustrate a firm understanding of the opportunity with clearly-defined next steps
  • Present a high-level, technical solution to diverse audiences, including AWS colleagues, prospects, and customers relevant to target industry or market
  • Conduct research to stay informed, learn about existing markets, and grow knowledge about new ones

Requirements:

  • Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant Business to Business (B2B) IT sales and prospecting experience
  • 1+ year(s) of outbound campaign execution experience
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Ability to effectively verbally communicate with customers
  • Target-oriented, effective, creative, customer-focused
  • Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills and organizational skills, and result-oriented who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
