Job Title: Highly Experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Travel Assignment

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

This travel nuclear medicine technologist position is available at Virginia Hospital Center, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a dynamic team. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for preparing, administering, and measuring radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using various radioisotope equipment.

About the Role:

  • Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists.
  • Subject patients to radiation as part of diagnostic procedures.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
  • Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, and PACS systems.
  • Familiarity with EPIC CLASS: RADIOLOGY CT ONLINE ON UNIT.
  • Scrub color: Pewter Grey.
  • Vaccine requirements: Flu vaccine during flu season (October 1st - March 31st).
