Job Description

We are looking for a Real-Time Controls Engineer to join our team at US Tech Solutions.

About the Job:

This is a 12-month contract position that requires strong technical skills in computer and PLC programming, including VB, .NET, C, and real-time systems. The successful candidate will work with our team of engineers to manage, modify, and develop computer systems required for manufacturing optical fiber.

Responsibilities:

The Real-Time Controls Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operations
  • Working with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems and user interfaces
  • Supporting process and product optimization/improvement efforts
  • Providing training for engineers and/or production associates as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems
  • Participating in capital projects

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical role or relevant experience
  • Knowledge in computer and PLC programming skills such as: VB, .NET, C, real-time systems or similar

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
