Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Keke's Breakfast Cafe - Palm Harbor. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items to meet the high standards of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food products using flat top grills, char-broiler, cook top, waffle baker, Panini press, and fryer.
  • Assume responsibility for the quality of products prepared and served.
  • Know and consistently comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area, including all cooking equipment and refrigeration equipment.
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Open and close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing the kitchen.
  • Assist in routine kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
Requirements
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
  • Must have exceptional grooming habits.
Availability

MUST BE AVAILABLE 6:00 am to 4:00 pm EVERYDAY INCLUDING HOLIDAYS.

Full-time applicants must consider Keke's as their primary place of employment.

All employees must have dark blue jeans with a black belt and black non-slip shoes on the first day of work.
