Diesel Truck Mechanic

Clean Earth is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team as a Fleet Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and trailers
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to schedule vehicle downtime and coordinate outside vendor repairs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a mechanic by the State of Michigan
- CDL Class A license with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsement preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety standards
- Experience with fleet maintenance and repair
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
