Job Title: Software Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at Open Systems International. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software systems that meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-level product specifications and system architecture
  • Evaluate feasibility and develop approach for integrating new feature and product requests into a complex distributed system
  • Communicate system and software specifications to development team
  • Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in software or system design and architecture
  • Experience with inter-process communication, networking, and common networking protocols
  • Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle, PostgreSQL or other databases
