The Developmental and Behavioral Health Division at Children's Mercy is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children with developmental, psychiatric, or psychological concerns. Our team of experts works tirelessly to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of experience in pediatric clinical nursing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership roles, performance improvement, and change management. As a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Leader, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing a clinical support team to ensure seamless clinic operations
  • Overseeing clinical processes and flow across various clinics
  • Collaborating with providers, nursing, and other departments to drive strategic planning and departmental goals
  • Utilizing the nursing process to develop comprehensive plans of care for patients and families
  • Managing unit material resources, such as equipment and supplies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in pediatric clinical nursing, preferably in leadership roles
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher (optional)
  • Licensed RN in Kansas or Missouri (Multistate License required upon hire)
