Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient conditions
- Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Maintaining a sterile environment
You will also have opportunities to serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and collaborate with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology
- Eligibility and/or current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- RCIS certification preferred
- BLS training or re-training required during orientation
- ACLS training within 6 months of hire
