Job Summary:

As a Sales Account Manager at NRG Energy, you will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with builders to achieve long-term customer partnerships. This role requires a strong understanding of our products and service offerings to effectively upsell and cross-sell to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate builder records, including contract updates and renewals.
• Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
• Stay on top of accounts, ensuring they receive services within their budget and meet their needs.
• Meet regularly with the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve service to builders.
• Generate progress reports for the Sales Manager and leadership.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of sales or related experience.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work overtime with little notice and occasional weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of sales experience within a construction/HVAC or home services environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and receiving positive feedback.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in an open office environment.
• Ability to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
