Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at Victor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting service technicians in selecting parts, selling parts to customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role
  • Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process
  • Sell parts to customers
  • Pull purchased parts from stock
  • Field phone calls, provide price quotes, and other required information
  • Keep the service department aware of special-order parts status
  • May pick up ordered parts from outside vendors as necessary
  • Follow all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram automotive products strongly preferred and given priority
  • Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to work Saturdays
  • Must be a highly dependable team player with a good work ethic
  • Requires excellent customer service skills
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
  • Basic computer and internet skills
Physical Requirements

Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) as needed. Spends 50% of work-day standing or walking; 50% of work-day sitting.
