Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct physical assessments, and order necessary medications or referrals to specialists.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Visit patients at home care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, board and care facilities, and private homes for assessment if qualified to receive home health services under Medicare guidelines.
  • Responsible for the physical face-to-face visits with the patients to assess the patient's needs (Medications, Medical Equipment, Orders/Referrals to Specialists).
  • Prescribe medications in compliance with established medical protocols.
  • Educate patients on preventive care and health safety issues.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Professional nurse licensure required
  • Current licensure in State and CPR certification
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft word, email, and EMR systems
Compensation

$80,000 - $100,000 per year
