Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40.12 per hour ($83,250 per year), based on the hiring range of $29.98 - $43.10 per hour.

This role is exempt from overtime, offering a stable work-life balance.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating patient disabilities, planning and administering physical therapy treatments, and participating in clinical program development and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' mobility disorders and related impairments through diagnostic tests and evaluations.
  • Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents, developing innovative programs to enhance patient care.
  • Analyze results of diagnostic and therapeutic testing to establish patient goals and modify treatment programs, identifying expected patient outcomes.
  • Select and apply current and advanced techniques to provide quality and efficient rehabilitative services, prioritizing care according to patient/family needs.
  • Participate in community health screenings and events, presenting at local or state levels, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives with healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and progress, contributing to the quality of clinical services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS certification.
  • No prior experience required.
