About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Manager to join our team at TRC Talent Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take on a challenging role with a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

As a Data Center Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data center facilities. This includes managing power and cooling capacity, monitoring environmental conditions, and ensuring that all systems are running smoothly.

You will also be responsible for managing a team of Critical Facilities Technicians (CFTs) and providing guidance on how to address issues found during preventive maintenance inspections. Additionally, you will oversee accuracy and completeness of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and produce operational reports as needed.

Other key responsibilities include enforcing strict adherence to customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and change control activities, assisting in managing client relationships and growing the business at assigned sites, and managing access to our data centers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mission-critical environments, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a colocation data center environment. You should also have excellent analytical and decision-making skills, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

You will need to be able to prioritize work based on business and customer demands, and be able to articulate complex concepts and ideas to a non-technical audience. Experience creating and managing service catalogs and SLAs, as well as knowledge of critical systems monitoring and change control, is also highly desirable.
