Salary

$18.85 per hour, with opportunities for weekly and DailyPay, as well as multiple shifts available.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Center Security Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for monitoring all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region via provided monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will also have experience working in a data center environment and possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Monitor all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region via the provided monitoring systems.
  • Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs. Respond to security/life safety system alarms in a timely manner.
  • Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms, providing clear guidance to employees and security staff during emergencies.
  • Serve as the liaison between all departments and the security department, effectively handling complaints and unusual/critical event information to Shift Supervisors, Account Managers, and Security Directors.
  • Accurately document routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities via shift reports, pass-down logs, incident reports, and other established methods.
  • Maintain control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room, accurately logging all equipment and keys signed out and returned by security, parking, and shuttle bus staff.
  • Complete task work orders for all reported maintenance needs and inform the Shift Supervisor/Account Manager of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in protective services, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of active service in any military branch or equivalent experience in public sector dispatch or emergency operations centers.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task, discerning patterns in detail.
