Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Southdale Pet Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting in surgical procedures, and educating clients on animal health and wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures, including preparing patients, monitoring anesthesia, and maintaining asepsis
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient comfort
  • Educate clients on animal health and wellness, including providing guidance on nutrition, behavior, and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations

Requirements:

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician certification
  • 1+ years of experience in a veterinary setting
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment, including anesthesia machines and surgical instruments
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
