About the Role

We are partnering with a top school district in Lincoln, Rhode Island to hire an Educational Psychology Specialist.

Job Description

This specialist will provide counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population.

Their responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, providing individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues.

The specialist will also collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Providing individual and group counseling
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators

Requirements

Psychologist, School, Teletherapy

Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology

State Certification and/or Licensure is Required to Start the Assignment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a School Setting is Preferred

Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members

Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings

Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
