Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at the Renton School District 403. This is a classified/support position based in the district.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with challenging behaviors and providing individualized support to ensure their success. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral support to students in various settings
  • Develop and implement behavior plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other professionals to promote student success
  • Document student progress and provide regular updates to parents/guardians

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment
