Production Coordinator

Job Summary:

ASM Global is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Runner to join our team at John Paul Jones Arena. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our events and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide transportation for event staff and crew members, including hotel and airport pickups and drop-offs.
  • Run errands such as department meals, laundry, grocery shopping, package delivery, equipment rentals, and coffee runs.
  • Coordinate large take-out orders with local restaurants, purchasing, retrieving, and distributing to touring personnel.
  • Assist production staff with general production-related duties, including light administrative tasks.
  • Maintain cash and receipts for expense reimbursement and reconciliation.
  • Provide local area information to touring staff.
  • Pick up and drop off company-rented 15-passenger and cargo vans.

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Friendly and personable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
  • Ability to work a long day (typical show day runs about 16 to 18 hours).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of the local area preferred, but not required.

Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this role include walking extensively and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds unassisted. This position may require work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions.
