Family Services Coordinator

Arapahoe County Department of Human Services (ACDHS) is seeking a highly skilled Family Services Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing family services, conducting Core Services planning, and representing the Department on various committees.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Human Services Finance Division regarding services utilization, referral management, contract, and budget compliance.
Partner with the Human Services Finance Division to meet with service providers to negotiate rates.
Attend Family Engagement Meetings (LINKS) and other staffings as needed, to authorize Core Services and enter service authorizations into the division databases.
Identify gaps in services, vet potential service providers, and secure partnerships with providers to meet the service needs of the Child & Adult Protection Services Division.
Conduct quality assurance, track, analyze, and report out on data/outcomes from providers to determine the effectiveness of services.
Act as a liaison with providers, facilitate regular provider meetings with division management staff, and communicate provider information to division manager and director as requested.
Attend State Core meetings, train county staff regarding Core services, address issues with providers as they arise, and ensure provider feedback about county staff is properly shared with management.
Provide or coordinate trainings to division staff or provider network, including the judicial system, and assist staff to find the most appropriate services to meet the needs of families.
Participate in the ongoing development of the provider services program, including developing and implementing a new service desk concept where staff can seek guidance and assistance in identifying the right services and assist with the referral process.
Ensure a strong balance of county fiscal responsibility and the service needs of children and families, while also ensuring the county is in compliance with county, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Guidance and Counseling, and/or Child Development and 2 years of child welfare caseworker experience.
OR Master's in Social Work or a Master's degree in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Guidance and Counseling, and/or Child Development and 1 year of child welfare caseworker experience.
Must have already successfully completed the Colorado Pre-Service Training Academy program or, if hired, must successfully complete and pass all required State of Colorado training to be considered for future employment.
Three (3) years of child welfare social casework experience is preferred.
Working Conditions:
This position is a hybrid work model, with a combination of remote and in-office work. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of work and tight deadlines.
