Product Development Opportunities

MKS Instruments is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer co-op to contribute to the development of innovative products. As a co-op, you will be responsible for designing and testing mechanical systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards. Your work will involve collaborating with the engineering team to develop new products and technologies, as well as improving existing ones. You will also be responsible for creating detailed designs, including drawings and documentation, and for conducting tests to validate product performance.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor)
  • Hands-on skills in a laboratory environment
  • Comfortable with mechanical and electrical hardware
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Benefits

MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
