About the Role

Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Travel Mammography Technologist to join their team for a temporary assignment in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Comfort: Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring they are comfortable and properly positioned during mammography exams. Greet patients, explain the procedure, and address any concerns or anxiety.
  • Image Quality and Evaluation: Review mammograms for clarity and completeness, adhering to diagnostic standards. Collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality images and identify areas requiring additional views or retakes.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Ensure proper operation of mammography equipment, performing routine maintenance and cleaning while following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, previous mammogram results, and details of the current exam. Document relevant patient information and image results, logging procedures into the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Specialized training as a Radiologic Technologist with expertise in Mammography
  • Proficiency in operating mammography equipment and maintaining its safety and functionality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $ $60-$80 per hour, based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. A tax-free stipend will be provided, amount to be determined. Magnet Medical offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth.
