Office Manager

The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our Special Projects Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative, operational, and policy support to the Director of Special Projects & Operations and the Special Projects Department.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional-level administrative support, including managing calendars, preparing correspondence, and handling confidential data and files.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the office infrastructure, establishing and maintaining administrative, management, and filing systems.
• Manage the ordering and inventory of program supplies, anticipating needs and upcoming events.
• Monitor, maintain, and update project management software.
• Develop and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, consultants, and community members.
• Assist in conducting periodic site visits to observe property operations.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure administrative and operational procedures are well-managed.
• Assist in developing procedures for current and future programs.
• Schedule, attend, and take meeting minutes.
• Report regularly to the Director of Special Projects & Operations.
Requirements
• Two or four-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• One or more years of administrative support experience, preferably for senior-level staff.
• Discretion and confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized, with demonstrated experience in working both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Commitment to LIHI's mission and experience working with a diverse population.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong self-initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and have excellent time management skills.
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social media platforms.
