We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team at Dallas Regional Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our ICU, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current and valid state RN license.
  • A current BLS certificate.
  • Completion of a Critical Care Course (preferred).
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  • Current ACLS certification (within 30 days of hire).
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with critical care experience preferred.
  • Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification (preferred).
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree (preferred).
