Nutrition Ambassador

Under the direction of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Nutrition Ambassador plays a vital role in the provision of nutrition care and food service to patients. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of hospital food service experience. Basic mathematics and computer literacy are also essential skills for this role.

The Nutrition Ambassador will be responsible for checking patient menus, making appropriate additions, deletions, and corrections prior to each meal service. They will also document patient meal census and other required data prior to each meal.

In addition to these duties, the Nutrition Ambassador will function as an active and effective member of the clinical and hospitality section in the provision of nutrition care. They will maintain effective communications with all clinical staff and display excellent time management skills.
